Art 232 is a capstone course for Yavapai College fine artists, photographers and graphic designers. Your photographs are cropped in interesting ways that draw attention differently with each one. Your first work is off balance and unnerving. I can't look at this photo for long because it gives me vertigo! Maybe that's why you've called it "A Glimpse"! Wow, to be able to bring out something physical from your viewer, it is a successful piece. "White as a Bone" grabs your attention with a big white hand in your face! You've captured an unusual perspective with your subject, and with it comes a feeling that one could get slapped accidentally at any moment! In "Hanging" you're using the rule of thirds - the shirt, the arms, the negative space - which is pleasing to the eye. It's balanced and comfortable to look at. Ah, I can now relax. Each piece brought out a different emotion, nice work!
