Art 232 is a capstone course for Yavapai College fine artists, photographers and graphic designers. Student artwork demonstrates their understanding and competency in core foundation courses, electives, and Adobe software. My favorite image is the "Truck". The way you balanced the complementary colors of yellow and blue really make the image very striking. I also like the hint of purple/lavender at the edges between the blue and yellow. The textures you created in the yellow background and under the Truck really give the image a 3d effect. I also like the way the textures used appear to make it look like there is a light source underneath the truck.
The other image I like is the "Goblet". The position of the goblet in the image is very balanced from right to left and top to bottom. Also, the shadows behind the goblet also add to the whole sense of balance and grace of the image. I particularly like the texture affect created in the front of the goblet. This texture brings your eye to and then directly up to the goblet.
