This is my favorite of your 4th posted pieces. Personally, I am drawn to strong color combinations in artwork. The balance between the vase, the large sweeping handle and placing the body of the vase to the right is very pleasing to the eye. I also like the balance between the complementary colors of yellow and blue of the background to the vase body. The placement of the pears on the vase with the same/similar tones and hues used in the background again brings a great three-some balance to the work. The shadowing and hues of the shadows really add delightful texture to the work. Moreover, the hint of green and brown in the leaves and the veins of the leaves further texturize the piece.
