Art 232 is a capstone course for Yavapai College fine artists, photographers and graphic designers. Student artwork demonstrates their understanding and competency in core foundation courses, electives, and Adobe software. I love all your quilts, I especially like the Birth of Venus. The colors are beautiful and I love the rhythm in her hair as it floats up the quilt!
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are so amazing. Since someone already beat me to commenting on "Venus," I'll comment on "June and July 2013." There is such a wonderful rhythm in this piece. The birds create such a great feel and sense of rhythm that leads the viewer around the quilt in such a delightful way.
ReplyDeleteHi Kay, It's hard to believe these are quilts. You are very talented. I do work in fabric art and know how difficult it is to depict images with such clarity and realism. I am really intrigued with June and July 2013 - particularly the underwater scene. Such nice work. Jaime
