Hi Karen! I love your photographs. I think every image displays line and rhythm very well. I like how "Flowing" is a blend of lines leading your eyes through the image, left to right, but how strongly it emphasizes rhythm because of the repeated lines and movement felt by the water. I also like in "Cactus Wren" how the lines of the back ground cactus directs your eyes into the wren on the front canvas, and it also makes a great background texture to allow the wren to really stand out. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThe "Flowing", photograph has a good balance between black and white. The lines the water makes draws me into the photo and keeps my interest. The tonal values and reflection of light almost gives it a dream like feeling.
ReplyDeleteSnow Branch: I love the way you used the lines of the branches to create such emphasis and focus to draw the viewer's eye to the snowball. Great job!
ReplyDeleteFlowing is one of my favorite photographs of yours. The lines of the water really emphasize the shape of the rock underneath. And I love the white splashes of water at the top...they almost dance across the image!
