Illustration – Fourth Post
Title: True Heart Media: Illustrator Size: 9 X 14 Date: Spring 2013
I first drew the dragon and then scanned it into the Illustrator program. After many layers, this is the result. It is a cover for a children's story I am working on.
Nice book cover! The colors are a great monochromatic, the dragon stands out just enough to be the focal point as I believe was the intent and remains subtle enough not to overshadow the background. The colors and overall design make this a great piece. It all flows together in a very good rhythm. Always loved that Library shot of yours. Perfect lighting to bring out the beauty of the buildings that just cannot be seen in the day.
