  1. Emphasis and Shape:
    Veil: For me the emphasis should be the face and mostly the eyes. Everything else should bring us there. The black and white lines create a frame to hold us on the face. Then the white of face, wall, and lower right pulls us away. For me, I want the wall to be grayer. I want the lower right white hotspot to go away. White of piano keys need to be dampened. Now for the face. Keep the skin white. Bring back the darkness of eyebrows and lashes. Pupils need to be darker and VERY in focus. I want to see more of the nose shadow and I must have a mouth to balance the face. At this point, the emphasis would be the face and all shapes would be holding me there.

  2. The flow of the veil draws the view into her gaze. The picture needs to be cropped a bit tighter to really keep the viewer's attention on the woman's gaze. I love the texture that is created within the veil. It reminds me of a scratch board drawing with the stark contrasting lines.
