Abstracts

Then applied sumie filter from Photoshop 5 Filter Gallery


"Glass", Digital Image, 11x14, 2013
Cropped image, adjusted levels, contrast and brightness, and hue and saturation.
Applied NIK Indian CEP4 Indian Summer Filter and then applied
ink outline filter from Photoshop CS 6 filter gallery.

Cropped Image, adjusted Hue

  1. Hi Sharon. These are really lovely images. Your color combinations are very nice. The line and color of Sumie are very energetic. There is lots of rhythm in your work, very vibrant in Glass and nicely quiet in Faces. I like your work very much. Jaime

  2. The rhythm of these images is very complete and satisfying. Repeated lines marching down the curve make the wood grain and neon colors unify towards a satisfying piece. Likewise, the carefree and swirling patterns in "Glass" lead the eye around the image in a merry chase, daring the viewer to sink deeper into the picture. Well done!

  3. The first image rhythm is nice and simple. Your eye easily flow through the composition seemingly unnoticeable. The second image is my favorite though There s nice movement as your eyes go from top to bottom of the composition but what i really lie s the contrast of colors. love the shade of blue you used and the hint of orange n there really sets ts off. Very nicely done.
