I see this as a triptych which gives it a spiritual contest. The sort or chiaroscuro use of lighting creates strong focal points which are considered as fragments of the whole. The idea of fragmentation is further explored through placement. The orientation of these parts are not necessarily in their "proper" place, giving more emphasis to these subjects often thought of as parts of a whole. Excellent.
